In another game that was largely dominated by Redhill, particularly in the 1st half, the Reds were on the wrong end of the result in this RUR charity cup tie.
Redhill had chance after chance in the first half, the best of them falling to Wayne Clarke, Chamal Fenelonand Scott Harris. Redhill could well have been out of sight at half time, but the sides went in level with no goals.
"We've got start learning. we need to look at what's happened in previous games, take it in and learn from them." Reds boss Simon Colbran said.
Stefan Joseph also had chances in the 1st half, with one header going only inches over. "We talked about previous games at half time, but we didn't finish them off." Redhill eventually conceeded 3 goals to a stunned crowd. The first on 73 minutes was a Scott Tipper 1st time strike that flew into the bottom corner and only 4 minutes later Howard Neighbour hot a spectacular long range shot that sailed just over Joe Hagen between the Redhill sticks.
Colbran said, "I'm not putting all the blame on the defence, deffinately not, because we should have killed them off in the 1st half." The final nail in the games coffin arrived on 84 minutes when Carl Turney headed into the net direct from a corner. "If you don't finish teams off, that is what happens."
Arundel have ended Redhill's unbeaten run of 5 game, 3 of the 4 wins have all been cup games. "Some teams in the league have played 9 games, and some teams have played 3. It's something you don't usually see in senior football." Colbran said.
The Lobsters injury crisis continues, but Colbran is detirmined not to use that as an excuse. "I can't believe it with injuries, But I'm not making any excuses, we've got a big enough squad to cope with that but injuries are starting to get reall frustrating."
Tom Grave is out for a couple of weeks with a foot injury, whilst it's still unknown how long Peter Barkley and Andy Atkin will be sidelined.
Redhill's goal came with one minute remaining, when Eddie Koboah, returning to the Red and White stripes of Redhill after a 3 season absence. Despute grabbing the goal, Koboah was also injured in the process.

"The players attitude it still fantastic, we're playing some really good football, we're positive and got a winning mentality. We just need to learn now, there's enough experience in this squad to be able to take it board and do something about it.".

Redhill must now bounce back against Ryman League Chipstead in the FA Cup 1st Qualifying Round on Saturday. "I want to see it from the players on Saturday. That's my big point. I want to see people driving it on, and I want to see us winners on Saturday."
